8th Open Call results: meet the 14 NGI Assure selected champions! 🏆🌐

The project NGI Assure, co-funded by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme has just published the results of its 8th open call for Research and Development projects. Individuals and entities were able to submit their ideas based on building blocks that contribute to providing technical assurances to make the Internet more trustworthy and secure.

The NGI Assure eighth open call was running for two months, from the 1st February 2022 to the 1st April 2022.

A total of 74 projects proposals originating from 23 countries were received for this call, and after an evaluation process and legal check, 14 projects were selected for funding for a total amount of € 532 770, that will be distributed among the granted projects depending on the requested amount. The average amount allocated to the projects is € 38 055).

Besides, all twelve beneficiaries can access a business and technical support programme, lasting from 6 to 12 months.
