Anil John's, Silicon Valley Innovation Program Technical Director, interview 🎤

Last 1st December 2023, during the eSSIF-Lab final event, many discussions and conversations took place regarding the future and present of self-sovereign identities in Europe and the rest of the world.

One of the leading actors in these conversations was Anil John, Technical Director of the Silicon Valley Innovation Programme (US Department of Homeland Security) and keynote speaker of the event.

During his speech, we talked about how the Blockchain Research & Development (R&D) systems can transform into Decentralized Identity Deployment.

He confirmed that the EU and US share the same approaches to ensure interoperability and solutions, and their main goal is also to make sure that public funding is used wisely and professionally.

In this interview, we asked him about the relationship between the EU and the US in terms of digital identities and what is planning to do in order to make sure society's safety while using the internet.
