Boosting the SSI ecosystem in #EmpoderaLive in Málaga

Yesterday we had the chance to enjoy the first day of #EmpoderaLive event organised by Cybervolunteers Foundation, where we listened to some developers, experts and advocates of the Next Generation Internet.

All the presentations from the NGI experts provided an excellent background about the needed elements for a safer internet in the future as well as what directions we should follow as a society to achieve those elements.

Some of the topics we could discuss during the sessions were:

• Rights and challenges of global citizenship before the digital ecosystem.
• Quantum computing facing global challenges.
• The role of innovation in creating resilient communities.
• Disruptive technologies with a positive impact.
• The role of innovation in creating resilient communities.

Two of the eSSIF_Lab partners, Régis Hamelin from Blomorpho, and María Páez Guerrero (@mariapaezguerrero), from FundingBox, were able to disseminate and showcase eSSIF_Lab project results and talked about some SSI solutions and ideas our subgrantees have been able to develop.

Also, some of our champions, such as BloqzoneorAlkemio, participated as well and, with their testimonies, helped to boost and grow the SSI ecosystem in Europe!
