Congratulations to Koruza!
Congratulations to Koruza, one of the NGI Pointer project’s beneficiaries for winning the NGI Innovator Pitches at #NGIForum21, the flagship event of the Next Generation Internet initiative, which brings together some of Europe’s top internet innovators who are shaping the Internet of Humans.
Koruza is a license-free, wireless optical internet-access system. It enables instant optical network roll-out in high-density urban networks – with minimal infrastructure investment – and ensures long-term, interference-free operation, it is built by IRNAS and won the Best Performance and Most Engaging Performance award, out of nine contestants preselected by the European Commission and NGI Outreach Office in the NGI Innovation Pitching.

The NGI Innovation Pitching contest is the space for NGI Innovators to showcase their concrete outcomes, technical building blocks, de-centralized systems, improved protocols, innovative apps, and services, etc.
”Koruza is a fantastic example of an open-source hardware/software project. At the same time as offering its entire product open source including detailed documentation, Koruza also helps fulfill the vision of the Next Generation Internet by offering a P2P optical internet-access system. Congratulations, you deserve it!"
