What if the NGI ecosystem could cross borders and build collaborations out of Europe? 🛩

Thanks to the NGI Explorers Programme, the EU and US have been able to build collaborative programmes and activities for exploring new ideas, products, concepts, methodologies, and foremost, exchanging know-how between EU explorers and their matched US partners.

The NGI Explorers Programme was shaped aiming to:

• Enhance EU-US cooperation in Next Generation Internet (NGI)
• Develop interoperable solutions and joint demonstrators, contributing to standards
• Build an EU-US ecosystem of top researchers, hi-tech startups/SMEs and Internet-related communities collaborating on the evolution of the Internet.

This has been, without a doubt, the beginning of mutually beneficial, long term transatlantic collaboration supporting progress in the field of emerging technologies.

The programme has resulted in a vital way to expand EU innovators network, knowledge and projects in an environment of international weight.
