NGI ASSURE’s 1st Open Call for bottom-up projects concluded resulting in thirteen finalists gaining access to overall €474 610 equity-free funding per project as well as business and technical support during the support programme.
After fierce competition, thirteen potential beneficiaries were selected from a total of 71 applications and currently are undergoing legal eligibility check. Pre-selected projects come from seven different EU countries and upon receiving legal confirmation will begin testing and validating their solutions within NGI ASSURE Business and Technical Support Programme.
Apart from receiving up to €50.000 equity-free funding per project, the winners are entitled to receive technical and business support, during a 6 to 12-months-long support programme.
NGI ASSURE Project goal is to support projects that design and engineer reusable building blocks for the Next Generation Internet as part of a complete, strong chain of assurances for all stakeholders regarding the source and integrity of identities, identifiers, data, cyber physical systems, service components and processes.
The consortium behind the project continues to organise further Open Call for applications with the next closing on 1st October. Applicants are welcome to submit their application here: https://ngi-assure-opencall.fundingbox.com
