The core mission of the ECCC involves multifaceted responsibilities, including the prudent management of EU cybersecurity funds within the framework of the current long-term EU budget (2021-2027). This stewardship encompasses adopting cybersecurity work programs and overseeing cyber projects under the aegis of theDigital Europe Programme and Horizon Europe.
One of the most pressing tasks undertaken by the Centre involves spearheading projects related to Security Operations Centres (SOCs).
