The project NGI Assure, co-funded by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme (G.A. No 957073), launched its 5th open call for Research and Development projects based on building blocks that contribute to providing technical assurances to make the Internet more trustworthy and secure. The NGI Assure fifth open call was running for two months, from the 1st Augusto to the 1st October 2021.
A total of 52 proposals were received for this call, and after and evaluation process and legal check, 10 projects were selected for funding for a total amount of €406 ,200, that will be distributed among the granted projects depending on the requested amount. Besides, all ten beneficiaries can access a business and technical support programme, lasting 6 to 12 months.

Implement external identity mechanisms to E2EE collaborative editor

Standards-compliant private key store for OpenPGP
Encrypted and content-addressable data blocks
The project continues to organise further Open Calls for applications. The current open call is running until next 1st April 2022. Applicants are welcome to submit their application here.
The NGI ASSURE initiative goal is to support projects that design and engineer reusable building blocks for the Next Generation Internet as part of a complete, strong chain of assurances for all stakeholders regarding the source and integrity of identities, identifiers, data, cyber physical systems, service components and processes.
