NGI Funding Opportunities presented during DAT Conference 2020

Last 30 and 31 July the first Dat Conference was held online, given the public health situation worldwide.

The Dat Conference is a peer-to-peer event about local-first tech and a meetup space for everyone interested in the decentralised web.

David Seoane (@davidseonefbox), from FundingBox and from the NGI Outreach Office, was invited to speak about different funding opportunities in Europe. In relation to the Next Generation Internet he had the chance to introduce eSSIF-Lab, an initiative that aims to stimulate the uptake of self-sovereign identity (SSI) as an open and trusted digital identity solution for faster and safer electronic transactions via the internet, as well as in real life.
