We are delighted to announce an exciting new feature on the NGI website: the NGI Impact Stories section. 🚀
We hinted at something special at the recent NGI Forum, and now we're proud to reveal it.
This section is crucial to our mission to highlight the work under the European Commission's Next Generation Internet (NGI) initiative.
✅ With a focus on trust, security, and inclusivity, NGI is reshaping the Internet.
✅ Since 2018, we have supported over 1,000 internet researchers and innovators through various projects.
✅ Our involvement extends beyond funding – we also provide mentorship and guidance to turn ideas into reality.
The NGI Impact Stories section features inspiring stories from our innovators. You'll read about their projects' tangible effects in fields such as digital identity and data privacy (and many more).
This initiative stems from NGI's commitment to align the Internet with the needs and values of its users. We aim to offer a space that inspires and enables direct engagement with the minds behind these inspiring stories.
The section will be updated monthly with a new Impact Story in a format compatible with any device. Each story includes:
✅ A description of the initiative: learn the basics in the blink of an eye.
✅ Audiovisual content: videos and photos fully adaptable to any device.
✅ Downloadable materials.
✅ A direct line to the story's protagonists – whether you're seeking inspiration, have questions or are interested in collaborating.
We also feature a tagging system, helping you discover initiatives tailored to your interests within and beyond technology.
We hope this content will inspire and engage the next wave of internet users.
