One NGI; plenty of resources

One of the goals of the Next Generation Internet (NGI) initiative is to spread the word about the positives of adopting an NGI-based approach when it comes to developing a fairer, safer and more trustworthy digital environment.

In an effort to reach as many stakeholders, innovators, policymakers and EU citizens, the NGI umbrella initiative enables different channels and adopts various formats so all European players can access content, funding schemes, innovation possibilities and networking opportunities among enthusiasts of blockchain, self-sovereign identities, ledger technologies and, in general, technical and policy improvements for a safer Internet.

The NGI online Community

The place where human-centric Internet enthusiasts gather to find:

  • NGI funds, with EU grants to develop your human-centric Internet idea
  • Visibility to showcase solutions to a 3k innovators' marketplace
  • Networking opportunities connecting with NGI experts, innovators and institutions
  • Support to get your questions answered and find help

If you haven’t done so already, join the NGI Community and get started by having a look at the Community Guidelines.

The NGI Solutions Database

With the advances of the projects granted by the NGI Research and Innovation actions, the NGI Outreach Office has made an effort to gather all NGI solutions resulting from them. The solution collection, which is hosted at the NGI portal on a dedicated page, gathers all open source solutions that, using decentralised technologies, will foster the development of a European safer and human-centric digital environment.

If you haven’t done it yet, browse through the database now and find the perfect human-centric Internet solution for you.

Follow NGI on social media

Besides this very community of more than 3k Internet innovators, the NGI initiative is present in other mainstream social media too, with the aim of expanding the reach and captivating new joiners of the NGI wider community.

You can follow us on:

And you can join the NGI LinkedIn Group to share your thoughts about NGI-related activities and topics, and to network with promoters of the Internet of Humans.
