Prosegur seeks technological solutions for the crypto-asset market

Prosegur is a world leader in the private security sector. Since it was founded in 1976 the company has developed a strategy based on three key pillars: innovation, a first-class team, and above all a fully customer-centric organization.

With the emergence and the accrual of value in crypto assets, Prosegur has launched Prosegur Crypto, a maximum-security digital asset custody solution for Institutional Investors.

Crypto Challenge was launched within the Prosegur’s programme called COME IN. COME IN is an exciting opportunity to embark on the world of global security, cash management, alarms and cybersecurity alongside a global security leader. There have been 7 challenges launched so far, all tackling Prosegur’s business' main pain points as well as some of society's most pressing needs during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The Prosegur Crypto call for submissions is open to national and international start-ups until 8th February. It targets start-ups with a functional prototype solely focused on the B2B market and that wish to validate their projects in a real environment as well as to help to open new lines of business in the crypto-asset market.

Open Call benefits:

• Up to €30k to finance the co-implementation of the solution with our Crypto team in a real environment
• Working together with our Crypto team in other developments
• Reaching an agreement for the distribution of the solution in the 26 markets where Prosegur is present
• The possibility of acquiring a stake in the chosen start-up
