Welcome to the space for NGI Assure within the extended NGI Community! Join the community then introduce yourself here.
The ambition of NGI Assure is to support projects that design and engineer reusable building blocks for the Next Generation Internet as part of a complete, strong chain of assurances for all stakeholders regarding the source and integrity of identities, identifiers, data, cyberphysical systems, service components and processes.
The ultimate goal of NGI Assure is to close the gaps for more efficient, scalable and secure blockchain applications, by supporting up to 112 promising bottom-up projects (BuPs) that are able to build, on top of state-of-the-art research, reusable Advanced Blockchain Technologies (ABT) and related enabling technologies to assist in the practical transition or migration to new or updated technologies.
The internet lies at the heart of our modern economies and societies, but it was not
designed to be used in the way we use it now. Additional innovations are needed, in
particular to make usage of remote resources on the internet more trustworthy and
secure. The goal of NGI Assure is to support projects that design and engineer
reusable building blocks for the Next Generation Internet as part of a complete, strong
chain of assurances for all stakeholders regarding the source and integrity of identities,
identifiers, data, cyberphysical systems, service components and processes.
We will shortly launch a series of back-to-back open calls (every 2 months) in which you will be able to apply for funding and mentoring.
Make sure that you sign up to the NGI community and follow this space dedicated to NGI Assure. This is the best way to be informed as soon as the open call launches and the best way to ask your questions to open call administrators, network with your peers, and meet partners for your projects.
