Where are we heading with NGI?

Internet came into homes and businesses in the 2nd half of '90s. Suddenly, people didn't had to rely on a TV, but could see news instantly from anywhere and find materials which didn't require for them to visit libraries.

However, in the 2nd decade of the 21st century, Internet is not considered anymore as the news source, it got corrupted by theorists finding conspiracies everywhere. The funniest thing, they've used the future of Internet, as a living organism which helps every moment in our lives, as an excuse for their behavior and a proof of Big Brother.

Where are we heading? What do we see as a future of Next Generation Internet? Why is our daily news routine circling around social networks, automotive advancements, space travels etc. without questioning if it's what we "really need" and how NGI plays a role in it? We always mention outcomes and never the tool that made it happen.

I'm asking everyone reading this article to think twice, trice, indefinite and share your thoughts, your ideas, your aspirations to make NGI a think of the future that we REALLY need, to protect from misuse, to give a tool for our and all future generations to make our lives better on this planet, as it's the only home we have.
