Over the decades, societies have progressed from steam power to the division of labour, right through to the IT and electronic age. Now, most are firmly cemented in the era of datafication, hyper-connectivity, and digital labour.
These changes have had a huge impact on the IT industry which is evolving rapidly with advances in digital technologies. For those in the industry, this has created significant challenges, coupled with great opportunities.
NGI Ambassador @sam-b proposes an approach to all those challenges from the point of view of the Universe. In a world in which us stakeholders are global and distributed, the Internet brings a powerful tool to catalyse the way we distribute the messages and take the proper actions towards our closest environments, but this time with a global reach.
But, how are those calls to action driven? To what extent and how can we use the networks at hand to distribute them globally? How is the distribution of global messages delivered to 7 thousand million people worldwide? These are just some of the issues the NGI expert tackles on the last edition of NGI Talks.
If you missed it, you don’t have an excuse now! Here it is at its full length!
