After the great success of the past two editions, the Blockchain Hackathon is coming back to explore undiscovered terrain in which blockchain technologies might be applied.
The focus in 2021 is on the uprising phenomena of “Coopetition” and on the connected development of Decentralized Platform Economies. Today, a few providers that are spreading vertically into every industry increasingly dominate the internet. Once a central platform reaches a critical mass, this dominance leads to quasi-monopolistic market situations. Coopetition offers a promising approach to counteract against these developments: Coopetition means in fact “cooperation” on the infrastructure layer and “competition” on the application or product layer.
Which models might arise through Blockchain-based network as alternative to digital monopoly? Which innovation networks and services can be developed in the field of Mobility, Industry and Finance? In November 2021, Blockchain enthusiasts, developers, visionaries and entrepreneurs will meet for the 3rd time online to elaborate concrete application scenarios.
The Blockchain Hackathon will take place for the first time fully online from the 12th to the 15th November 2021. Participation is free and open to all Blockchain-Enthusiasts from all over the world.
